As task, an object (here: a sphere) is to be transported from one desired position (start) to a second desired position (end) with the help of the coupler of a four-bar system. ASOM can support you in this with the appropriate synthesis tool. Afterwards, the desired position for the end is deliberately modified further and the four-bar linkage is adapted automatically with the help of the synthesis. Likewise, the motion (trajectory, course of movement) is also subsequently adjusted further. This is always done interactively and in real time. All of the displays in ASOM that depend on the simulation (here: e.g. element shadows as previews, trajectories) are always updated immediately.
