Logged-in users can now find the newest version 1.2 of ASOMmini on our Download page. To update your copy of the software, download the ASOMmini installer and run it.
The following changes were made:
- Drives: New segment type “Cubic Spline” for drive functions
- Analysis: Display of joint forces on the Canvas and in diagrams has been redefined: Joint force is now always the sum of normal force and friction force instead of the normal force alone (hence it is now also available as a diagram for prismatic joints and displayed for revolute joints on the Canvas with lever arm = friction radius)
- Various corrections and improvements
Please note that due to the redefinition of the joint force, older projects may display different values for joint forces than before.
