Example for the design of a kinematic mechanism for a flush-mounted retractable door handle with kinematic synthesis of two kinematic systems (serial connection of two synthesis methods). Forces and torques are considered in various alternative cases simultaneously, also taking into account further restrictions such as mounting conditions and collision conditions.
In this example of a four bar system generated ‘on-the-fly’ multiple manual force curves are determined in real time. The concept is also applicable to other multi-bar systems. The kinematic analysis can be extended, e.g. to the determination of the corresponding bearing forces.
